Women in Science Day 2025
The Center for Natural and Applied Sciences (CENAS), Women of Nepal in Mathematical Sciences (WoNiMS), Nepal German Academic Association (NEGAAS), and Women in STEM Club Nepal collaboratively marked the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (IDWGS-2024) at Padma Kanya Multiple Campus, TU, Bagbazar.
We were deeply inspired by the journey of Assoc. Prof. Badri Laxmi Vaidhya, Assistant Campus Chief of Padma Kanya Multiple Campus, as she shared her struggles and achievements in attaining leadership roles in STEM. Her story was truly captivating and motivational.
A special appreciation goes to Ms. Erica Udas for her insightful presentation on building confidence and leadership skills—her words were truly empowering.
We also extend our gratitude to Ms. Prashama Panta and Ms. Tara Paudel for their excellent moderation and for seamlessly guiding the event. Furthermore, we sincerely thank Assoc. Prof. Dhana Kumari Thapa, Dr. Neelam Subedi, and Bindra Devi Shakya for their valuable support and contributions. Heartfelt thanks to all participants whose presence made the event a success.
